Hometown: Walnut, CA Medical School: Western University Why I Chose UCI/CHOC: It was important for me to be at a stand-alone children's hospital with high volume, so I would be well-trained in providing care to a large number of children ranging from bread & butter pediatric cases to those that are medically complex. Also, UCI/CHOC serves a large catchment area, which provides the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population. Lastly, I really connected with the residents here when I was on my away rotation, and we bonded over food and hiking! Areas Of Interest: Global Health, Advocacy, Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine Hobbies: Trying new food/restaurants (foodie), cooking, snowboarding, dancing, brunch, traveling Fun Facts: I bathed with elephants in Thailand! And my English name was given to me by my kindergarten teacher. |
